Be The Kind Of Leader Great Leaders Talk About.

I truly feel sorry for this fella, so despondent, so forlorn, so deserted....this man called
AA Badawi.

He is a leader of a country whose ruling coalition just had a wake up call. People who once hail him now wants to crucify him. His predecessor wants his blood just like his lieutenants wanted blood on their crooked xxxx.

As I look and ponder, what do I see. Do I see anything. Can I learn anything from this character clinging to anything and everything to avoid every political dart or arrow hurled at him. Then I remember, remember the wise sayings of great people who went before me...before Badawi.

And this is what they say:

A real leader faces the music, even when he doesn't like the tune.
Maybe he is willing to face the music he did not compose but some wants him decomposed.

Anthony T. Dadovano
A good leader is not the person who does things right, but the person who finds the right things to do.
He is looking to do the right thing but is prevented by the wrong people.

Talleyrand
I am more afraid of an army of 100 sheep led by a lion than an army of 100 lions led by a sheep.
A well comparison to his predecessor.

Elizabeth Kenny
He who angers you conquers you.
So if you wish not to be conquered, stay calm.

Greek
Those who the Gods would destroy
First they would make angry
If you are pure, God will take care of you.

Haliburton
When a man is wrong and won't admit it, he always gets angry.
I see many around. They seem to pop up like mushrooms...suddenly.

Willard Gaylin
Expressing anger is a form of public littering.
In that case they should be fined for littering.

Dr. Robert Anthony
The angry people are those people who are most afraid.
Afraid that their wastes will be laid to bare and the stench is becoming unbearable.

Eric Hoffer
The remarkable thing is that we really love our neighbor as ourselves: we do unto others as we do unto ourselves. We hate others when we hate ourselves. We are tolerant toward others when we tolerate ourselves. We forgive others when we forgive ourselves. We are prone to sacrifice others when we are ready to sacrifice ourselves.
Are we ready for this?

And so I shall end with.....

Sara Paddison, Hidden Power of the Heart

When you have compassion and surrender to your own heart, you are surrendering to the hidden power in your heart, God. You are surrendering to love, because God is Love, the cohesive force of the universe that connects us all. Surrender is not just a religious concept; it's a power tool for listening to the voice of your spirit and following its directions. When you surrender your head to your heart, you allow your heart to give you a wider, higher intelligence perspective. Remember the phrase, "The real teacher is within you." Very simply, that teacher is to be found in the common sense of your own heart.

Sara Paddison, Hidden Power of the Heart
Consider your own life—how many times a day does some situation pop up that leads to moments of frustration and anxiety? Surrendering your head to your heart in those moments will lead you to balance and fulfillment. As you listen to your spirit, peace follows. So follow your spirit. Build your foundation in your heart.

I wish the best for our leaders in the hope that they will do their best for our country.

When we lead from behind, the scenery in front of us is very bland....we see only the backsides of our people.....should not a leader be always in front?
